Is SendSafely better than my "secure" email system?

Once you've sent an email, you can rarely control who accesses it, and how. With SendSafely, however, you can leverage additional privacy mechanisms such as automatic expiration and deletion, recipient access limits, and–for PDFs and images–watermarking and restricting saving and printing.

Auditability

SendSafely provides robustly detailed audit logs, providing you with a paper trail for portal activity so you can view exactly how, when, and from what IP address your recipients interact with the sensitive information you send them. You can pull these logs via our API, or have them pushed to your AWS S3 bucket for your SIEM's consumption.

Hosted Cloud Platform

Our platform runs entirely on AWS, which means you get fast upload and download speeds and unlimited scalability, and have no up-front costs and nothing to install or maintain.

No Recipient Password Management

We have several authentication options that move away from tricky-to-manage and hard-to-remember passwords. Our corporate users can leverage any SAML-based SSO, as well as Login with Google. Their external recipients don’t have to register accounts with us or create usernames and passwords:  we authenticate them on-the-fly using Google Auth, or a one-time verification code that can be sent to their email address, or to their mobile phone via SMS.
